Description The field design is often found in Belouch rugs and
shows Turkmen influences  as in Boucher plate 14. The border is rare an
identical one is shown in Boucher  plate 10. The colours are really good on
soft lustrous wool, the rug has a very floppy and soft handle.
Condition  The rug is complete and is undergoing sensitive
restoration to the field and sides. The pile is a little low on areas as
can be seen from the close-up picture.
Commentary. A good example of Belouch work of the Northwest Persia
Khorassan, Torbat-e-Haidari region. With great wool and colour.
