Dyes vegetal Colours 9 dark red, red, apricot, yellow, green, blue-green, dark blue, ivory, black. Description Small white centre, with multiple borders in thick soft glossy wool. Bands of colour in the back and the central panel with a slit and weft faced brocading. Condition Excellent, the faces of wonderful soft and long wool characteristic of Bergama weaving. There are some old repairs in the flat-weave back. Commentary A rare complete example that has been in a well known English collection, sourced directly from Turkey in the 1970's.
